After 1 hour of continuous fighting by the Xiajiang fire officers and soldiers, the fire was finally extinguished. Thanks to the timely rescue, equipment and furniture worth hundreds of thousands of yuan were secured. At 11:59 on the same day, the brigade received a report from the masses that the Xiajiang Xinshen Furniture Factory in the Chengnan Industrial Park had a big fire, and immediately dispatched three officers from the three water tank fire trucks to the scene to fight. After the fire officers and soldiers arrived at the scene, they found that the baking room was about 10 square meters, and all of them were stacked on top. Workers are nervously using the surrounding planks and pumping water to extinguish the spread fire. Since all are wooden boards, the fire is still spreading to the entire furniture factory. According to the situation on the spot, the commander quickly arranged the combat plan: the second car was responsible for two water guns for fire extinguishing on the single trunk line, and the remaining vehicles were responsible for supplying water to the second car to ensure uninterrupted water use. After fifteen minutes of fighting, the fire was effectively controlled. Since all the baking rooms are made of wood and high temperature, the officers and men of the brigade only need to sprinkle water inside, and the smoke will suddenly take off and it will not be able to hit the fire directly. The fire fighting work was in a stalemate. In order to eliminate the fire as soon as possible, after consulting with the head of the household, the officers and men of the brigade decided to extinguish the fire from the left and right sides. After the plan was determined, the workers used the hammer to smash the wall. After more than 20 minutes of hard work, the walls on both sides were chiseled nearly 2 meters. After the difficulties were solved, the officers and men of the brigade cooled the boards while carrying out fire fighting and organized the workers to transfer the boards. After 1 hour, the fire was completely extinguished, and the furniture factory with millions of yuan was successfully protected. The cause of the fire is being further investigated.
